Research

“Nobody in my family was a scientist, but my father loved doing puzzels.”
— Jennifer Doudna, Nobel Prize in Chemestry 2021

My research aims to understand how people, technology, and space intertwine. I primarily study work from a situated perspective and am phenomenon-orientated in my approach. Nevertheless, I follow an inductive process while collecting data. In other words, I observe and interview people and read and interpret documents to understand interactional processes or how participants in a situation relate to one another. I’m interested in the meaning-making process enacted and how values and worldviews are shaped and reshaped. Furthermore, my research focuses on new ways of working and organizing work. I have specifically collected data and participated in projects related to coworking, digital nomadism, and hybrid working.
