Coffee and Work Lab is an independent lab focused on education for work. Because I also aim for social impact through research and focus on developing entrepreneurial skills, I created the venture to disseminate ideas about the evolving nature of work. In a much dismantled formal educational environment, but with my bag full of resources from my PhD, I continued exploring how people learn while they work.

My goal was to connect people with fresh perspectives on work and encourage them to actively engage in shaping a more inclusive and egalitarian world of work. In addition to the social engagement resulting from the lab, which translated into invited talks (see here the video from the Colatam), I was also asked to act as a jury member in two PhD defences in Brazil. As I am one of the few researchers engaged in a dialogical approach to interactions at work, my work on dissemination put me in touch with workers of all levels.

For now, most of the material under the lab’s flag is published in Portuguese. In the near future, the lab will awaken, and the content will be created in English.
